Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Is death wish + living on the edge build possible?

I haven't played the release version of the game yet, but made a couple of walkthroughs during the EA. I consider making a Red Prince-lone wolf with points in necro, fire and warfare (and some points in hydro, geo and huntsman for armors and mobility). The question is can I effectively use death wish + living on the edge skills + what a rush talent to augment my damage, or will the passive healing from necro nullify my buffs? Has anyone tried this or similar build?

yeah it works.
you shoudl focus on bringing down armor with the buff.
that way you won't lifesteal back to full on first turn.

on the last turn before it runs out you can use vampiric hunger and hit enemy vitals to easily heal back to full.

though death wish alone won't even bring you near close to low life.
the best way I developed was to actually let one of my toons go berserk and die.
then I painshackle + living on the edge and use last rites.

I have high crit so when it crits it does 7k+ damage to whoever is shackled. and you resurrectet a mate back to full, while also being at a descent level of health to benefit from death wish.

For your goal you might want to pick up skingraft, which will then give you 4 rounds of invulnerability with 1 round CD.
