The Larians making a kind of carmageddon game? MMm i like that idea, because i'm a fan of the genre.
but half man half car , i thought "ogh!"
or you were a human who couls interface with a car...

but it would be nice if someone made a "transformers'" game.
maybe rpg style.
you can race in it , play GTA3 style with interaction in the cities AND you can fight like "final fight" or "killer instinkt"

Now it is an april fool, but I think we should analyze that screenshots. I think theire could be some interesting hints on the real project X in it.

Example:

The screenshots is a modded unreal screenshot. Is this Larians way of saying that the high end 3D engine is the unreal engine of unreal 2? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

Theire making theire own engine. I tought they bought a high end grafical engine.

unreal2 engine isn't fit for RPG tho

LED wars was a fun game indeed, but I never got around to winning even 1 map <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

It exists on PlayStation 2. I saw the demo two days ago. It's an FPS more than an RPG, though.

So where does one get LED Wars now? I wanna try it!

The Underdogs is a reliable source of abandon-ware games. The copy they have is a CD Hack version. The person who made that hack probably removed all of the video and speech to make the game easier to pirate. The game can now be legally pirated (I'm assuming The Underdogs have contacted Larian about it) and this is the version they have available.
