It's not a problem for me, but for people who have never played D:OS 1, the skimpy 7-page manual is utterly insufficient. 90%-95% of the problems I read about the game in various forums--Steam, Gog and here--are Operator Error or else trying to get the game to do something it wasn't intended to do, etc.--playing by the wrong rules, etc. Here's a Sven quote from the skimpy manual that is pertinent:
Please read our online digital
manual for a more comprehensive and up-to-
date description of each feature in the game.
You can find it at divinity.game/manual
Problem is--the only thing there atm is the skimpy manual containing that quote...;)
I'm assuming that Larian has a comprehensive manual for online access in the works. I love the game and am having no problems with it at all actually--other than the Quest log doing all kinds of weird stuff, that is. It keeps forgetting that I unchecked "show completed quests", mainly. Nothing bad enough to foul me up, though.
That's it--thanks for this great game, Larian! If you had not put this game in front of me I'd have had trouble guessing what might have been better than D:OS 1...!....;) No longer! This game exceeds my every expectation. Can I also add a special note about the *music*, graphics, animation and sound in the game? It is masterful! Best Pathfinding I have ever seen in a game of this kind, bar none! Wonderful job! Inspired, really. 'Kay, that's it. Gotta' get back to Act 2...;)
