Great game, I finished it as a divine and took all power for myself (I played as deathknight fane necro+2h warfare). I'd say its more of an evil endings as I played rather barbarous character but even if I played a good guy it would be rather bad choice for the world itself as chaos and war against void continues with that choice.

I guess the most hmm whats the word... balanced? ending... is to sacrifice urself to repair the veil with having "fake" divine in Lucian to govern the races but in this ending eternals are never brought back from the void. But I guess its only fair that new comes to replace the old.

Its sad that you can't bring back eternals as a race without dooming all mortal races. No matter what you do if you play Fane you can't undo Sevens greed without dooming atleast one side. As a Fane I felt connection with my race that was banished to the void to make "room" for mortal races so they could fuel "Gods" but it seems that the returned God King feels no sympathy to the new world that he returned to rule.

My question tho... Where the God King had his power from? To rule over The Eternals eons back before discovery of source and Veil? Its said that Sevens became the "gods" only due to Source that was taken from the Veil and circulated in the world fueling Sevens through their mortal followers. I assume that before Veil was torn there was no Source nor Void in the world correct? So God King was just a noble figure among undead but without any "divine" capabilities right?

That leads into another question... prior to Sevens using The Veil to funnel Source into the world both Source and The Void were just a force without any shape right? I mean The Veil was all the Source that was and equal counter force of Void surrounded it? Prior to Eternals being cast into the Void there were no creatures of the Void or anything like that right? My question is what would happen in the world if Sevens would not banish all the other Eternals to the Void? They would hold dominion over the Source and weakened Veil would let Void leak into the world but what shape would it assume without having anyone to hold dominion over it? Or it would be just a matter of time before someone would "wield" Void against the Seven in that scenario? Just like God King did after his banishment?
