So i spent 20 hours one one project with my own map, not thinking about how the game handles party members and loading, Id like to add this map to the origin reapers coast map so i can have seamless gameplay. is there a way to do this? also damn thats a lot of props, how can i get the performance better when editing in that map to not be 12 fps?

Make sure to load data from story in your personal add-on and open RC_Main, as explained in this tutorial for modding the main campaign.

To place your level in there, you have to make a level template for it. We don't have a guide specific for this yet, but what you do is this:
1. Make a new Root Template (type: level template)
2. Set the "Level Name" property to the level you want to put in Reaper's Coast
3. Place that level template in Reaper's Coast. It will also update if you change anything in the actual level later on.

Sincerely,
Kevin

Yes smile

It was originally made for that purpose, since our designers started running into the same issue as the levels started growing.

You make a separate level, then make a root level template of that level like I explained above.
You'll be able to place it in other levels and it will stay up to date with the changes in the original level smile

You can check it out in Reaper's Coast (RC_Main) by browsing through the level templates in the World Outliner. One example would be Small_Dreamscene_Desert_000 with the original level being Small_Dreamscene_Desert.

You won't find that many level templates in our levels because most of them have been "exploded". That's a right-click function on a placed level template that turns the template into separate items in the level. That way it doesn't update anymore and the items and editable. It is often done after the template is finalized, to avoid accidental updates and so specific gameplay elements can be added for that local situation.
