I've had this bug several times now. During the first fight in Driftwood arena, about halfway through, my screen goes black except for the UI. I can still attack and move, but can't see what I'm doing. I actually managed to win the fight this way once, and after speaking to the Dwarf woman, teleported to the Driftwood Square waypoint, and everything was still black.
Playing the latest hotfix version through GOG Galaxy.
