Im playing act II and this game got suddenly pretty hard.

Im playing with 3 companions and Im at level 10 but every encounter im having around driftwood is just too hard. The enemies are very difficult and got a lot of health. Because the game is non linear Im not sure which way to go after talking to almost every npc in driftwood I have a lot quest but not sure in which order to play them.

I started looking for the dwarf in the cave protected by the possessed dwarfs but there are just too many and they are very good positioned after that I crossed the bridge east of the paladin station saw the deers and realized thats not going to end well...

Did I level up wrong or what am i doing wrong? I cant progress....I would really appreciate some advice...

Well, first things first : what's your level ?

In Driftwood (and in pretty much every part of the game), easiest way to know which zone is for you is by looking at enemies level.

You are lvl 9 and enemies are lvl 13 ? Not for you. You are trying to fight the ??? troll on the bridge at lvl 10 ? huh.

And yes, if you need xp, better go at the graveyard (after the paladin camp/bridge thing) --> non combat xp.

Step 1. Check the vendors for equipment. If your weapon isn't up to snuff any level difference is merciless.
Step 2. Try solving non-combat quests in Driftwood for XP.
Step 3. Revamp your tactics; focus your damage dealers on the weakest links.
Step 4. If all else fails there's a mirror on the ship that lets you respec your characters free of charge; if you see any issues with your build that's where to go.
Step 5. git gud I guess?

Act 2 is pretty rough early on, just try to scrape up XP where you can and look for the weakest enemies to pick away at. If you go to the graveyard there should be plenty of exploration XP to get.
