Kris A shouldn't base his little adventure on not buying the game.
Probably has a driver conflict, or Win XP is trying to shut down a program that is conflicting with something running in Beyond Divinity, Win XP has a coding leak in it's OS still, it will freeze sometimes, reboot and say that a driver has caused it or some other Hoolaganny thing. Most of the time it's the video card and or drivers, or setting that cause games to crash. When you buy a new game make sure you have the lastest (signed( drivers for Win XP or it is quite an adventure. "Hit control alt delete and shut down all the programs you have running in the background to free up memory."

Well I just formatted and put win2000 back on and it runs smoothly know, where I used to be really slow loading CS maps to get on a server, now I'm always in first.

Now a days you need to manage your pc very frequently, adware, spyware, "leechware" -> shares your recources over the internet. virusses etc etc. Get a fire-wall -> less memory, get a anti-adware -> less memory

So you really need a lot of memory today.

I have a Pentium 4 @2.66GHz, 256MB DDR SDRAM @ 333MHZ, a 64MB GeForce MX Grapics, 60GB HD, and SoundBlaster Live with 5.1 surround sound and Win XP and I did not have any problems running the demo at all. I run Windows Update once a weel to make sure that I have all the latest drivers and any that Microsoft has put out that is new for Win XP.

Well I just dun wanna the dev group to put all the solution of the problems into the patchs.Yes we can wait more time for the perfect version of BD.Plz...coz I love this game.
