Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Help/Tips/Tricks Halp (The secret of the dwarves quest)

This is the first where I feel like the game is punishing me because of something that I decided way earlier on.

I'm at the suspicious hole part in the secret of the dwarves but because I don't have a thievery skill of 5 I can't get the lock open. My party is my custom character, Lohse, The redprince and Ifan. Neither of them are thieves and my custom character isn't one as well. Help me anyone, I'm completely stumped.

I am not sure whether there is another way of getting there (have always played with Thievery), but if I were in your position I would simply respec one of my dudes into Thievery on the Lady Vengeance, pick the lock and port them right back to restore prior stats.

So I do not know if you already figured this out, but the hole in the wall is opened with Sewers Key, which I believe you pick up from next to the corpse where the spiders ambush you. Just got to this bit again.
