I am about 11ish lvl playing lonewolf with a friend on Tactician. This is our first playthrough and i am building a mage around the talent that lets you crit with spells. I can already see how easy it is getting to stack up on Critchance items so i was wondering how the crit modifier calculates in this game. Say i have a base damage of 100 and i add 2 points into INT i will have 110 dmg. If I then add 2 points into scoundrel will it then be calculated by the base damage of 100 and just add that or will it use the final damage of 110?

Such rambling i am sorry lol. Would it be 10×10x100 or only 20x100?

Does high ground bonus work the same?

stat bonus apply for the source damage.
So 1 int bonus = 5% bonus
1 fit bonus = 5 % bonus.
You have skill benefit from both stat so it go like : (0.05 + 0.05)x 100 + 100= result

Critical damage apply for total damage (above ''result" damage, or final damage as you said).

I think high ground work for the source damage.

Thank you. Do you also know what the base critical bonus is for spells before scoundrel? Is it still based on the weapon in ur main hand or do they have their own bonus?

Base crit damage for everything is 150%. And all critical damage is combined from (base stat + skill + stat + weapon (bonus)). If weapon is unique that has base crit larger than 150% then total crit damage is ( weapon base crit damage + skill +weapon bonus).
Backstabbing crit always based on your main hand weapon crit damage. (And with skill if you have ofc)
