Hello everyone,

To keep it short, I had crashes, on game load into main menu, on gameplay, on save load, but somehow I managed to finish the story line. I bought the game with mainly the GM part in mind as I really loved such a feature in NWN1.

After finishing the game I made a full system wipe and installed win 10 fresh, got stable drivers with reboot on each driver installed approach.

The game is the only thing that is on my PC atm and I have crashes:

1) On Drivers Nvidia: 378.49 There is DX not responding error with Crash to desctop.
2) On On Drivers Nvidia: 385.41 There is "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

========Error in event viewer (application tab):

Fault bucket 129574027527, type 5
Event Name: RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0

Problem signature:
P1: EoCApp.exe
P2: 3.0.143.909
P3: 10.0.15063.2.0.0

Launch options include full screen on recommended, windowed on minimal.
When the window is not active (selected other application) it can run w/o crash, when it is active it will run for 15 sec and always crash, it will crash when going into options, mods, profiles instantly. It will not crash on entering the game itself, while gaming the app will crash randomly after X minutes/few hours.

GPU temp will be at 6X C regardless of graphic settings.
Tried with and w/o Gsync.

Hardware:
Intel i76700HQ
16 GB RAM
GTX1070
SSD M.2 NVMe

No overclock and no underclock - voltages at stock. No BIOS mods - Avrg. user.

I run test software on mem, drive, gpu, as well as stress software for overheating problems but all turns fine. This is the only game I have struggles with.

Already tried with Realtek driver conflicts, and mupltiple audio drivers conflict, as well as setupping power controll for max performance.

I know that for some people underclocking works, but not for me, and even if, that is just a workaround,

At this point I run out of ideas,

Thanks!

Update 09-OCT-2017:

For the moment I've reached stable performance with the game.
Game caused GPU going into high boost on clocks and software could not keep up ending up with crashing the system.
For my GTX 1070 vBIOS update helped following the link:

https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=281873.0

Keep in mind that this is for GTX1070 mobile and this is on ones own resposibility, the safest way would be to contact the retailer.

After the vBIOS update clock boost is limited and is not causing crashes. On 1 hour gameplay I had one crash without the usual event logs, after I turned Gsync off I had no more crashes for the following 2 hour gamplay [full screen on ultra].

Currently I'm on Nvidia driver: 385.41-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql.

Cheers,
