Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Bug? Tarquin jumped ship after patch

When I saved and quit game last night, Tarquin was on the deck of Lady Vengeance and holding both pieces of the Anetheum. Today when I start up the game from that save, he is no longer on the ship and is now wandering around at the cemetary gates where I initially got the quest to bring him the two parts of the Anetheum.

He says he's just looking for some "odds and ends" before going back to the ship. The only option I have for dialog is "End".

I was all set and planning to sail off to the Nameless Island first thing. Should I leave without him or do I really need the Anetheum?

He is also gone from the ship in my earlier saves as well.

I have the same issue, any idea if there's a fix for this/if it affects Act 3 if we had already done the quest to get him the 2 pieces of Anathema?

Bumping for visibility - just happened to me as well.

"All in the Family" quest has been completed. Gave both pieces of the Anathema to Tarquin and he was still on the ship yesterday.

Load in today and do a bit of questing before I notice hes gone. Hes at the graveyard - just like you said - after Malady told me he was missing.

Any updates on a solution? I'm still having this problem.

I'm also wondering if we'll be able to get Anathema later on if the quest is completed? It'll depend on whether the trigger for it is the completion of the quest or if the trigger is him being on the boat at the end of Act 2
