So, I'm in act 4 and i've beaten the demon without accepting malady's help at all, not even opting to let her take me into the demon's realm. I beat the demon before he even got a chance to possess lohse. I will outline the fight, the demon had around 7k armor and maybe around 7-10k health. I nether swapped him since lohse went first, got my height advantage since lohse is a xbow user. I stripped his armor and used a knockdown arrow on him to put him on the floor. After that, he did not get his turn due to knockdown and my 2h warrior the red prince finished him with 2 melee crits which were about 6.9k critical hits each.
The end of the story-line proceeded and i figured i would go talk to Malady to see what she had to say after my victory without her help at all. She talks to Lohse like the demon is still alive and that i'm about to be his thrall which perhaps leads me to believe maybe i shouldn't have been able to win with lohse still alive? I think maybe this is because my Lohse who is my avatar had 47 initiative and i dont think the boss was scripted to go first in which usually it robs you of your turn if you have higher initiative than the boss.
P.S. This was not fixed by the patch like the candle event was when you accept malady's help/Also i think it's relevant that my playthough is lonewolf and my characters stats are extreamly inflated due to lonewolf scaling
