Hello

I used to create new icons with no trouble a few days ago.
Now since the update I cant create any, the texture atlas seems more buggy than it used to.

Am i the only one who cant create new icons since patch ?

Haven't tried it yet, but I'm assuming you were trying to create new skills? If so, was anything else broken along the process of creating them and/or their skillbooks?

If not, disregard. A problem I was having is not being able to link a Skillbook's GUID from the root template to the Object Stat for it because the game wasn't recognizing it.

I have not created new skillbooks since update. Because i'm stuck with the icon step.

Everytime I load my atlas file, I add entries and everything works so far. Then I save and I get "Could not load xml". And that's it, it wont work. If I load the atlas file again it won't show up. And icons are not working.

It used to work few days ago, im doint the very same thing I used to.

You could do it with a placeholder icon for now and try it out.

And I tried to work with a new Texture atlas file just now and it seems its not working for me either.

Jeez, this mod killed the main thing I was modding and had tons of projects for. RIPPO :c

We need a rollback or a fix ASAP.

Well I tried to link GUID to my new skillbook and I dont see what is wrong, it seems fine to me.

But my skill is bugged. It uses new Status and it's not working at all, even after restarting editor. New status are completely bugged for me .. it didnt some days ago.

Broken all around and not similar problems from person to person. I wonder what they even tried to change to break it to this degree? The patch notes under the modding section don't even deal with many of these functions. Might just be the dominoes effect tho, so who knows.

You should change the title of the post to fit the problem lest it's taken as a user error by the devs, for extra assurance. Name it something like "[Bug] Texture Atlas files not working after update."

We need to address all the issues. I'm gonna mess about with most of the functions later and see if I can't sniff more out.

I have tried to add new icons in the already existing and working atlas file I created few days ago, and it still doesn't work ; now even those icons which used to work before dont work now.

This is really anoying.

And new statuses still dont work either whatever i do.

Tons of reported issues since the update. Would take Larian too long to fix them unless the fixes are trivial and tied to a few lines. Unfortunate part is, is that I don't know if they work on weekends or not so as far as we know, they might not even be seeing this until tomorrow.

Internal tests with new icon files seemed to work fine.
I followed the Community Guide for it.
Do you still have this issue after the dlc data fix that went live an hour ago?

Still not working for me. It used to work on last week before the update.

I am following each step. But at the end, when I save my .lsx I get "Could not read XML" error in the message log and it will not save correctly. Then I can't open the lsx anymore, it is empty.

Could not load xml.

Ok I managed to find out what the issue was and where that bug came from.

One must not use é è à etc in the png files used for adding entries.
I renamed all my png with no special character and it worked. Sad that those letters are not supported anywhere in the editor except in translation texts ..

Hey Kevin

Thank your for noting it down. The main issue is that in the Stats editor you can write é è à etc but "in game" those appear with unknown characters. And, of course, in the texture atlas it causes a bug when png files use thos characters.
