I can't understand this : in this game, even a retarded monster can tell who has glass cannon in your group, and even more retarded Magisters can tell if Fane is undead WHILE wearing a mask. I'm "ok" with that (patchitplz)

But meanwhile !

Meanwhile we have Gareth : this dude has a badass armor, a badass voice, a badass 2h sword, a badass Moustache, and a few spells like ice shards/fire daggers/crippling blow/phoenix dive.
And during the few fights he's with us, he ALWAYS use his spells on full magic armor enemies WHO DON'T HAVE PHYSICAL ARMOR ANYMORE, and use his AA on full physical armor enemies WHO DON'T HAVE MAGIC ARMORE ANYMORE.

Seriously, Gareth should respec in the Lady's Vengeance and stop diving like a retard JUST for casting ice shards in melee range RIGHT under the feets of my melee Fane.

I don't know if it's normal but I have the feeling that friendly npc are retarded.

Shiny pixels do not make up for a lack of skillz. I read somewhere that it is possible to have him join you for the final fight (together with the rest of the reprehensibles) but I have yet to have this happen. In my first playthrough he actually went against me. Absolute ingrate. Should have dug up those parents' graves.
