Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General How do you play with the PS4 Controller?

Simple question I guess, but how am I supposed to play with the PS4 Controller?
Right now, I connect it via Bluetooth and run DS4Windows to map the buttons, but is this correct? Shoudlnt the game be able to detect the controller and use it without any emulators in between? I'm playing on GoG, I know Steam has it's own emulator but does not track my achievements and playtime when I purchased the game through gog
