This has been asked a lot, but I haven't seen an "official" request in this forums and I'm starting to think that we are all waiting to this mod to come up but... is anyone really doing it?

Basically, we want a mod for allowing more than 4 players in Custom campaigns, even if it's only for campaigns with a human GM, I've read in the forums of other groups apart from mine which players won't buy the game because they are more than four people, and couldnt play together because of this limitation.

This is a huge limitation that has been brought up many times and from the responses I dont think Marian will ever address it. They say it is a limitation of the engine. I think hi becomes the main issue. You cant det the game up to accept more that 4 with the UI.

I remember there was a spor for spectators. Could you just use that or a direct connect to allow more people? Then there would be thw issue with hot to trigger character creation for them. Perhapse when the ability to troll characters is modded in that will help there.

I've really given up in Larian addressing this issue and think were on our own so I'm glad you brought the issue over here.

The engine is an improved version of the first game, right?
If they could add two more players into it and it was also "limited by engine", and they did it. This is a really hugely demanded feature, it's what GM mode lacks to make the sales skyrocket. DnD patches are being made, when we have the exporter for models and stuff peole will create new models. This could replace very easily roll20 as a platform for dnd roleplay. That means HUGE money. Larian wouldn't even need another kickstarter for a 3rd part of the game if they help to do that, just saying.

With the limitations they aren't even in the virtual table top game. I agree they could get a good slice of the pie if these issues were addressed but I think GM mode features are a low priority.
