Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems [BUG] Spawned voidling is untouchable

During the quest "On the Ropes", when I kill White Magister Johnathan, a Void hatchling spawns from his body. This hatchling is level 1 but immune to all attacks/spells/afflictions, so I cannot kill it no matter what. Johnathan and this void hatchling remain locked forever more in a fight until the hatchling kills Johnathan (very slowly)

Is there anyway to kill the hatchling through a command or something? How can we work around this

I am having the exact same issue, very annoying! I tried looking EVERYWHERE online, but this is the only place this bug is mentioned. I am betting it's a bug coming out of the new patch/update. If anyone comes up with a solution, please post it here!

I've never had him spawn a void hatchling. Definitely a bug.
