After giving Tarquin the first artefact (quest: All in the Family), my outlaw wanted him to sweeten the deal so he gave me a skillbook.
If I sell him that skillbook for gold or goods, he gives it to me again. I can then repeat this process until he's out of stuff or I get bored.
Probably want to have it so he only gives the item once.
