Hi,

i am currently on a mission for Captain Mitox. In our conversation i said i could use some better equipment, and he told me i could take what i need from the tent camp to the west.

Thing is, i have come across this camp before, and in a cut scene, all soldiers there were enchanted and are now hostile towards me.

Aehm, do i really have to slaughter all those soliders??
Will there be negative consequences if i do, or can i solve this some other way?

I prefer to avoid attacking them, though it's been so long I'm not sure what's the "correct" way of dealing with them: I think you can either avoid them becoming mind-controlled beforehand or deal with it afterwards but I'm afraid I'm a bit short on specifics.

I generally left them be too. I did kill them all once but there was no better equipment there then I already had. I guess if you are short of money, it might be a good idea to do so. I kept thinking, hey, it wasn't their fault and it might wear off in time (as far as I can tell, it doesn't).

While you are working for the army, you can also take things from the ground and storeroom in the army camp where General Alex is.
