Hi.

Is it possible to import a TreasureTable? Basically I want to combine my treasure table with treasure tables from others mods...
I can manually edit / replace the generated treasure table under Stats\Generated. This works, but I don't see the entries in the TreasureTable Editor and if I save my table again, the files gets replaces and contains only my table.

For example, exporting "Stats\TreasureTable_TreasureTable.txt" from Origins.pak and placing it under my mod's Stats folder did not work.

The editor does not use .txt files. The editor uses .stats files.

Mods are not distributed with .stats files, so you can't see their data in the editor.

If you can't see their data in the editor, you can't even copy the table as tab-delimited rows that you could paste into your table.

Also, we're not sure what the {table}_{table}.txt files do since they're used by neither the editor nor the game. The .txt files in the Generated folder are generated from the .stats files when you save the table, and only those .txt files are used by the game.

Long story short and simplified: you have to manually add that data to your mod, or get the mod author to send you their Editor\Data\{mod} folder, which contains the .stats files for their mod.

The {table}_{table}.txt files are the old-style equivalent of the .stats files. Before we had the stats editor, the stats were edited in Excel. We had a macro that called a Ruby script to import the {table}_{table}.txt into Excel, and another one that also called a Ruby to convert the Excel data back to {table}_{table}.txt and to Generated/{table}.txt.
