So I am creating the Curse of Strahd in your engine and currently im loving every minute of it.

I load up the map for the players, lets say "Death House" and they can move the player marker from room to room.
I use the vignette to introduce the room and spring traps which players love and when combat sparks..I send them into a scene! YAY!

However.....A player can see the entire map I lay out for them. There is no Fog of War for a map and that has been a massive bummer in my recreation.

Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds all have this feature and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on to this. I honestly believe this is the biggest glaring problem with running adventures right now.

Thanks for reading

In the level settings in the editor you can set "hide shroud" to false.
In your case you would need to create new levels by copying the existing ones. You tried that already?

No because the fog of war I am looking for is for the map not so much the actual playable level

Okay got it. You could make the map black though. If that was an option to don't have a map at all.
