So I killed Griff before letting Sebille talk to him...

I did that BEFORE exploring and completing the rest of the island...a good 10 hours ago...like now I want to leave so checked the rest of my quest... and this pops up.

Gotta say pretty disappointed.
All quests you can complete in different ways, but this Important one not??
And it literally breaks her story quest??

Stranger still Griff drops his foot/hand yet Sebille cant gain any information by eating it?

I know the next person is Zaleskar but he says nothing.. yet he also drops a withered heart... again Sebille doesn't find out anything by eating it.

Don't know why this game doesn't have a Quest Failed Pop up ( and Complete for that matter ).... that would have let me know straight away that I messed up.

While looking for a fix, It seems this whole situation is more complex when you include Ifan's (I think) story quest.

So you're telling me in all the play testing not one person killed Griff before letting Sebille talk to him???

Disappointed. Dont even feel like playing the game now... uurgh

The quest is probably not broken. Or at least, it is not broken because she didn't talk to Griff. Later quest prompts will occur.

I hope you are right... Don't feel like replaying 10 hours just for her story

Were you able to spawn his spirit with Spectral Sight?

Edit:act 2 was not available in Beta so the community did not play test this quest at all.

You can't get that in Act 1, and this is an Act 1 quest so the community should have been able to play-test this. But so should QA.

I was thinking of Roost at the time, because I am about to fight him and I have both Sebile and Ifan in party.I am hopeing that spectral sight will allow Ifan to talk to him if Sebile triggers the fight and I have to kill the bastard.

Also during act 1,I never had any reason to try and kill Griff.He is an arse,sure,but hardly worth my time.

Ok so I continued playing... I just started Act 2. And the next entry in Sebille's quest just appeared.

Man I was so worried the quest would just get stuck

I guess quest doesn't break.... I can breathe again XD
