This exploit somehow wound up getting called "Gold Exploit"

But the fact is you're not exploiting the gold, you're manipulating the gold in a bag, which allows the obtaining of free items.

Just curious if anyone else was using this.

Anyway the answer is no, I never deliberately use exploits. I don't see the point.

The only probably-unintended exploit I use is the infinite Idol of Rebirth, because it is super great when you're modding stuff up and trying to test things. (-:
