I've been playing with KB/M combo and I can escape from a fight by clicking on the icon on the tool bar during that character's turn (if I'm far enough away from the enemy). Last night I plugged in my xbox game pad and played the game from the game pad. I like this method (since i play on a couch not a desk so space is limited for my wireless KB/M combo) but I wondered into an area that I was getting smoked in and needed to escape. I could not find a way to escape from a fight on the gamepad.

Is there a way/how do you escape from a fight using a game pad?

Open the Skillbar (Triangle), find an empty slot, add a new Action to it (Square). Look around in the available actions there is one to flee the fight
