Although I have selected a picture for my ID from Larian URL) , it does not show up on the board. How do I fix this?

Address you wrote is incorrect.
You put this URL for your avatar:

See the beginning, you wrote http:// two times.
Erase one and address will be fine.

Address should look like this:

http://www.larian.com/ubbthreads/images/avatars/cat.jpg
