After some trouble finally got the Editor working. However I can't even select terrain material for some reason.

Kevin_larian mentioned I should post it here, with a possible video. I hope it is enough information to help me get started. If not just ask for additional info and I'll provide what possible.

Hi Giblix,

In the video you filtered out material resources and tried to apply a texture resource instead. You need to right-click the material filter to exclusively view materials instead.

d'oh

i feel so stupid now. Should've checked the "Type" tab for description.

It seems all boxes are selected. so when you think to select "material" you actually de-select it.
Would it be an idea to have all those options "off" at the start? So that when you click it to activate you actually get to see the stuff you would want?

Hello Larian_JB,

Why don't any of the support admins react in the technical problems parts of the forum, especially to the posts about game breaking bugs? It seems really hard to get help or support.

QA reads the fora (here and elsewhere), tries to reproduce reported issues (if not yet reported) and creates internal bug reports for the ones they can reproduce.

To get personal technical support with the game (from crashes to quests that get stuck), please mail support. They will ask for extra information if necessary (savegames, dxdiag reports, ...), triage everything using the internal bug tracker and in cooperation with the QA team, and will work directly with you to find a solution.

Why not make a forum thread with a compiled list full of all the technical issues you are working on? Like you guys did here in the modding part of the forum. A lot of people are getting annoyed with way you are handling these issues at the moment. Take a look in the general part of the forum for reference. Those are also posts admin's do no reply in at all.

I think is pretty clear, people are not getting sufficient help via the mail support. That is why they are posting these issues in the technical problems part of the forum, to no avail.

For example I have send multiple e-mails to support, did everything they asked. The response I got was pretty useless, they just said that my savefiles were indeed corrupted and the loading bugs are indeed annoying to have. They recommended to start a new game, after the new patch. I think it is pretty obvious that, starting a new game is not a solution right? They also said I could try my luck on the technical problems part of the forum, which you just said, you guys dont reply in. That means I don't get help. In Dutch we have a saying which fits perfectly in these situations: Van het kastje naar de muur worden gestuurd, Ask you flamish colleagues what it means. So what would you advice me to do?

By the way I would really rethink the approach you guys are using on the fora. A few replies in posts with the biggest game breaking issues would go a long way.
