Splinter Cell is such a terrible game, it is boring and very frustrating, who actually likes it and why?
(All those who complained about me are guilty of being "trolls" they wouldn't leave me alone thus they drove me to outrage! They were flaming just as much as me and as a group picked on me in their own pathetic ways.
Those who are guilty of this I don't want posting on this forum. You're just as bad as me, if not worse for making the whole situation happen, if those who are not familiar with the 'situation' would kindly look in the "what's going on in this town" forum, you will see I was antagonised first by two different people who provoked my bad language.)
Can someone define "spamming"

(I don't get it)
But surely everyone thinks that Metal Gear Solid is soooo much better as far as stealth goes. Hitman 2 is awesome too.

I like splinter cell: pandora tomorrow I am not really far, and so far didn't have much trouble with it (okay, I'm playing in normal mode ) but still.
I don't like the fact that it can be to linear, in a strange way. In a mission with a train, I walked the wrong way and my mission got aborted because there was no more time left (thats what they said). But I had all the time in the world, so that didn't make sense
I do like the rest of the game though. The graphics are nice, it's almost a shame you will have to use the nightvision a lot..
anyway, that is my humble opinion

I agree with Archatron. I played the demo of the original Splinter Cell, and besides the graphics, I wasn't all that impressed. I thought the game was pretty boring too. Most people seem to like it though.
I did however like Metal Gear Solid. But that's not really stealth is it? There's way more action going on in that game. You don't really have to "sneak around" as such, since you spend most of the time running, avoiding the little pyramids which represent the field of vision of an enemy.

Why, do you think, has he THREE glasses ? Two for the "normal" eyes, and the third in the middle for he "Third Eye". Haven't you ever wondered why Indians often have a red spot between both eyes ?

Atchatron and Thor are you both siami brothers? Where goes one there goes another. You are one person I think.
Stupid kid I say.
As for Splinter Cell you say the game is terrible, give me a single [nocando] reason. Why? I have it installed, I have even entered it tree, four times, but thanks to my broken video card I haven't got a chance to experience it. Anyway, graphics, character animation, water, sky, character movement were absolutely outstanding. As soon as I will get my card back from repairs I will play more.
Alrik, jvb, Tavi go not play his game, he is making you guys look he gave you no reason for any debate. Looking at his previous posts the only game he played is Metal Gear.
I played first game, loved it.

Why did you have to say that you idiot!
I have the first Splinter Cell on the PS2 I can say it's crap if I want to, because that's exactly what I think about it, stop being a goddamn troll and read what I posted first of all, I don't want your kind on my forum, kindly leave me alone I don't care for you opinions. Can someone sort out a way of checking mine and Thors IP address, I would love for it to be proved that we are not the same person.
If you pleasant with me, I'm pleasant with you that is how it works Egin.
The game is boring and as someone has said already very linear, the thing that I hate most about it is the hand to hand combat, it takes two elbows (if I remember rightly) to knock an enemy out if they have spotted you, but only a single one if they havent, this really annoys me because while you are elbowing them in the face they are shooting the crap out of you, and don't say I should be using a gun, because on certain levels such as the FBI infiltration mission you are forbidden to use any kind of weaponry.

Egin, you didn't say you like the game, you just said you liked the graphics. Maybe to you, graphics are everything, but I prefer Gameplay over everything else. In fact, I still occasionally play Super Nintendo and Nintendo games, because they simply are great games.
So maybe that's why I don't really like Splinter Cell. But I never said it was a bad game. It's just an opinion, don't get upset.

I like the game. It reminds me somewhat of Thief. A good stealth game really breaks up the monotony of run & gun on occasion.

Simply put, not everyone is going to like every game. I happen to like Splinter Cell, I like stealth games in general. And yes, people not being able to see him with his green glowing head gear is kind of unrealistic. But then if you wanted total realism you would go for a walk outside not play a computer game.

Morbidly curious, I went through the thread to see what the hubbub is all about, and I have to say -- oh, come now, other people trolling? I don't know; it seems that you were calling people names, being rude in general, and so were responded in kind. Those who are guilty of this I don't want posting on this forum. And you would keep people you don't like out of the forum how? Did the moderators give you administrative privileges to ban other users at will? Is English your first -- nay, even second -- language, by the way? Because the word you're looking for is "thread", not "forum."
