As you can see in the above image, these are just the few examples of the quest log bugging out while on my current playthrough. It goes from minor quests to important ones, like ones that stop you from having NPCs like Almira give you their follow-up quests and help in the final fight.

-Almira's questline is bugged and made me miss her appearance in the next Act, her next quest (even after giving her the artifact and clearing the area and boss), and her final fight help
-Despite helping Alexandar with the Sallow man and even persuading him to help me in the race to the Academy fight (before he gets killed by Dallis as an unavoidable result), game thinks I never helped. I fear if this will affect Ifan's ending too considering he's my chosen romance. Or if he'll also be bugged altogether.
-I completed the final Proving Ground trial in the Academy and again, game says I didn't once moving Acts.
-The Eithne quest never closed and said I didn't help despite doing so
-I helped both cows into transforming back yet.....you know the drill.

As you can see by the screenshot, what's more frustrating is that the quest log correctly updates saying I've done what needs to be done, it just never closes when it should be, and defaults to assuming I didn't help in the end even if the previous update says I did! For minor quests that don't import to the next Act, fine, whatever, but for big quests and for important NPCs that carry over surely it should be a priority to fix this? I imagine these bugs happen if you do the quest objectives in a certain order or in a specific way, but if you're going to allow different approaches, half of them shouldn't be broken.

Is there any sort of indication that the dev team is going to fix these bugs? I wanted to have a second playthrough, but seeing all these bugs and seeing how I've missed Almira entirely has made me lose the desire to play a second time if I'm going to experience the same bugs that alter my experience.

Quests in this game work... well... poorly. In all these cases (except Alexander I think) you missed another "random" action you need to do to finish the quest.

*Unlikely Lovers needs the Harbinger of Death dead and the Tablet of the Swornbreaker recovered.
EDIT: Oh, you've done that? Yeah, then it's likely a bug. I finished the whole questline right there in her house 0_o
*Haven't done the Proving Grounds one.
*You need to visit Eithene in the Graveyard to finish that quest.
*Treated like Cattle you likely needed to dug up the treasure to finish it.

-Yep, have done the optional quest after Unlikely Lovers. In fact I had the tablet all ready in advance because I had heard of that quest. Had killed everything on that map including the boss. Maybe the game couldn't handle me able to give the tablet right away, even though THAT quest had closed successfully when it should have since it's a different side quest.
-I had dug up the treasure and even went back to the 'cow' people and told them I did it. Quest didn't update.
-The Eithne one is probably the only one that I actually didn't finish because I didn't know you had to find her in the graveyard after.

These 'random' actions shouldn't be necessary to finish the quests when even in the previous quest updates before moving chapters I get the 'you did it' update for each quest. This is most apparent for the Proving Grounds one as it did not only update when I won the fight but also updated when I talked to the crow. That should be enough to successfully do the quest. And for me to miss something that I had to do is pretty hard because I'm a completionist and do eeeeevery single thing I can in a map before moving on.
