Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Assembling Council - need Axe of Stone

Eolus needs Axe of Stone before joining Council of Seven. Spoke with mayor and imprisoned elf. Elf's story convinces me mayor involved. Cannot get mayor to talk, gave him lots of Rimmer's Ale but he's not drinking. Any Help here appreciated.

The evidence you require is not in the dwarven village. Check out the dwarven halls in the Dark Forest.

Not sure but i think your suffering from a bug if you cant get the mayor to talk using the ale.

You only get experience and a password anyway, the evidence is actually in the dwarvern halls (down in the mines) as described above.
