Question for those who have used the 6 player mod: Is the mod stable and will you be able to finish the game with it withoust serious bugs? Is it too easy with the mod? I would like to experience all the NPC stories without playing the game more than once so I am playing on tactician with the mod. So far I am finding it fun but challenging in Fort Joy. I like having the variety of skills to play with. I played tactician in DOS1 and relied heavily on summons. That gets kind of dull and don't want a bunch of conjurers with the same rinse and repeat pattern for every encounter. TIA and no spoilers please.

I know how you feel. One of my issues with the game ( as much as I absolutely love it ) is I have restarted 5 times trying to settle on the right difficulty and mods vs no mods. I played the 6 man up to getting back on lady vengeance and it seemed quite stable ( with some minor UI and dialogue shortcomings ). I tried it on tactician.

It was definitely getting too easy quick, and that is no surprise.

Then I tried it with a 5 man party and that was almost right.

In the end I have settled on restarting on tactician with 4-man but I use a few cheats. Nothing big but I like rounding out my stats so all my guys have more armor flexibility, and a free pet pal and a couple other skill and talent adds.

But yeah...there's no way around it getting too easy with 6 in party I think. 5-man might work for you though. But I just can't say if it is stable all the way to end game.

Depending on your playstyle even 4 man setup can be to easy after a certain point.

Just use mods like "double monster spawn" Monster madness" and "tougher bosses" with an xp-reduced and monster-levelup mod to balance the game, so instead of have fights 4 vs 6 as usual you have fights 6 vs 12 and you will be fine (The mods are all compatible because they are made by the same guy). I am playing that now and it is working fine so far, even in nameless isle.

You cannot see all stories in one playthrough though, because the plot of the characters may change if you are playing an origin avatar ( Companions stories are more or less fixed, but if you are an origin avatar you can make different decisions that can change some things, at least in Sebille and Ifan. Not much in Beast... man, the guy is hopeless no matter what)
