After the most recent Windows Update, the editor camera is completely broken for some people.

I figured I'd try giving it a shot anyway using the MMB+RMB workaround found in the Reddit and Larian Forums links above. Unfortunately, the bug also kills the user's ability to hold RMB+drag in addition to MMB+drag. This means terrain editing is nigh impossible.

I have tried creating a new project, uninstalling, nothing works. This occurred immediately after reinstalling DE2 after my PC crashed due to a Windows Update messing up.

I'm sort of treating this as a bug report - if there's a better place for me to contact Larian directly (already tried Twitter) let me know.

You can also try making an E-Mail ticket too, but that's about it I think. They're pretty frequent on the modding forums though, but mostly during daytime Europe from my experience. So give it a day or two, but can't hurt sending an email too.

This is an issue that has been occurring since the Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update. The fix for this issue is scheduled for the next update.

I'm also having this issue and the MMB+RMB is "working" for me, it is a pain using this workaround but at least it works. I'm using XMBC (portable) to remap MMB+RMB to my mouse button 4.
