Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Doctor Daeva - no Jahan no Malady

Got in to Doctor's house and rejected his offer. He refers to me as Lohse (I'm a custom build with a merc, Ifan & Fane in party). Fight starts with 4 adds plus nurses plus him with >22,000 physical, magical armor and health.

Jahan isn't in the basement
Malady offered me no candles
I can't kill him before he takes demon form (tried - he took no damage and instantly aggro's)

I'm assuming the quest is bugged.

Can this quest be skipped?

To clarify - Malady is still on the ship, not in Arx.

Obviously bugged. I don't think the quest is mandatory, since it's very difficult to get into the house if you do not have Lohse.

I killed Isbeila and got approached and given a note to get in. Was able to defeat him once I hit lvl 20 and got decent lvl 20 gear.

I have the same problem. I am playing on tactician difficulty, but there's no Malady and no Jahan and the Doctor keeps adressing me as "Lohse" (Who died on the Lady Vengeance after act 1) The barrel that you are supposed to use to get into jail seems bugged and I can only loot it and not do anything else with it.
Now I can't progress because he has easily over 25k armor and shield and even more health..

I have Lohse in my party and get this exact problem - tactician mode. Disappointed to see it was reported here around 6 weeks before I experienced it and yet it has still not been addressed.
