Finally finished the entire act 1 with a glass cannon mage, had to restart my run because I killed everyone in sanctuary of amadia and caused Gareth to bug and not show up on ship. I recorded the experience my character received, it's not all exp possible but it's enough for level 9.
Some fights seem really difficult at first but it was pretty fun figuring out strategies for them, the run does not involve any combat reset or deathfog barrel, however I had to use a somewhat cheese strategy, rain + contamination, to do the Dallis encounter at level 3 for her hammer and experience, as well as a few other fights, this strat won't really be required anymore once the build has all the essential skills it needs, I was surprised that no one asked me how I got my hammer in my previous videos though.
The general idea is to try to get as much easy experience as possible before fighting, I haven't really seen anyone talk about this trick, but if you have 2 ranks of thievery you can just pick the lock in the dungeon and get out fort joy at level 2, then with the black cat you can get a lot of free exp around the map, I left at level 4 because I didn't want to miss the exp on magister carin and goa, the necromancers in the tower can be killed for easy exp by smashing their soul jars one by one after you initiate combat, don't aoe the jars or you won't get the 4200 exp at the end, I killed them late in the exp list below.
