Hi People.. I have a problem as well.. I have the German version and i tried updating (DivPatchV1_1b_1.exe & DivPatch_German2.exe) The patches say that I dont have Divine Divinity installed! Any ideas??

Ich habe die beide patches heruntergeladen, aber die erkennen mein installation nicht! Hat jemand eine ahnung warum, oder was ich tun kann es zu beheben? (Sorry für die schlecht Deutsch, aber ich bin Englander! :ö)

![[Linked Image]](http://www.divinedivinity.net/smilies/welcome.gif) Do you have administrator rights for your OS? If you downloaded without and tried to install without there might be problems. Do you have moved the divinity directory? -are you sure you have the right path?

100% admin & the install path is standard! no changes, and nothing moved! It is a bit annoying actualy! I cant play the unpatched version because of sound probs with the Extigy!

Hi Juggles!
How often have you installed Divine Divinity? Because i know from several cases with a corrupt installation although a correct installation has been notified.
But anyway, even a corrupt installation should not effect the patch, because he just search the registry where to find the right path...
Perhaps he get confused by too many partitions? Have an idea: just decrease the number of your partitions (i.e. only two) and then try again! No, was just a joke...

You joke, but i even checked in the registry to see if the path was correct! I have no idea where to look though. The key at local machine; software was OK. I suppose i could deinstall and try again but i dont want to lose the savegames!

Sometimes the simple things are the most effective!
Ok i deinstalled the game, and then removed all registry entries!
after a reinstall everything worked out fine!
Both patches are installed, and i hope that i dont have any more probs!

Oh, This is Divine Divinity, without problems it`s not the same <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I suppose i could deinstall and try again but i dont want to lose the savegames! Your savegames are lost, because in the german version they dont work with the patch. But i think you've checked this already out. Btw: why do you have the german version if you're english?
