Hi:

I have spent lots of time trying to get around or over the hedge rows in
the forest areas.
Many times this has kept me from going where I needed to be.
Has anyone found an easy way to do this?

Thanks

No it is not the boundaries of the land.

Right now I am trying to cover all the area that surrounds the Elven Village.

What I mean is when you are walking and you come to a raised area or
a row of hedges or maybe they are rocks. You are not able to go forward but
must go around.
You can even see these as lines when you look at the larger map.

thanks

You can not get onto most of the raised areas in the Dark Forest. You can toss a teleporter stone up, but there is nothing interesting there.

Thanks Raze:

When I look at screen shots taken by other players I see that all the
areas have been filled in.
So I do not think I have described clearly what my problem is.

I am talking about the many slightly raised rock walls that you find
all over the forests.
They run straight for a while than jut in another direction for a distance and
then change again.

I am still trying to get to the areas just surrounding the Elven Vlg to the
norht/west.

Thanks

The screen shots with no fog-of-war were likely made with maxed Elven Sight and Ranger Sight (which is much less effective). Also, apparently if you cast Wizard's Sight twice in the same place, the fog will remain cleared.

I also failed to through my tele-stones up the higher areas. Maybe it is a version issue

I'm pretty sure I got onto the raised plateaus with the teleporter stones once, and I did get onto the mountain by the treasure cave that way. I had to play a bit and change positions a few times before finding a place I could toss the pyramid up, and then there was a fairly narrow range where I could drop it. Once up on the mountain, though, there was more flexibility tossing the teleporter stone around.

to get to the top of the wall, there is a small stairway near the bottom, you must have a keen eye, and many long narrow vallys to explore
