I'm nearing the end of nameless isle. I already killed the master and turned in his heart to the scion making sebille rooted. Sehalia gave me the quest to kill the mother tree but I can't do anything to it. I tried killing the scion but interacting with the heart just tells me that it looks unwell. I can't attack it. I don't have access to the deathfog bomb because the master is already dead. I see no way to progress forward with sebilles quest. Is it just broken? Does turning in the heart break the quest? Help please!

Only the master detonates the bomb even if he is alive you have to go to him, to finish the quest.

The master is dead. I used to be able to just have Sebille interact with the heart and she would kill it. Now the option isn't available. It just says the heart isn't well.

I guess the only way to finish sebilles story line is to eat the heart and not give it to the scion. Any other way breaks the quest. Great.

Depends on what you mean by "finish Sebille's story line". There isn't one single outcome. In my playthrough, I killed the Shadow Prince, gave his heart to the Scion, but refused to do as she asked, so I ended up killing her right after that. The quest (The Mother Tree) was closed for me. I could still go back and interact with it as Sebille and still had the option to kill it anytime.

Right. I don't have the option to interact with it and kill it. The scion is dead and heart is still there beating. No matter which character tries to interact with the heart I can't do anything to it. Sehalia already gave me the quest to kill it and ran off so the quest to kill it is still open.
