Is it meant to go in real-time even when in battle? It seems very odd. It even says "2 turns" as opposed to "12 seconds" or whatever it would be in real-time.

On a related note, I'm trying to put out the Historian in the Gargoyle's Maze. I cast the blood rain spell, then blessed him but it didn't work. I thought that was what you were supposed to do? Doing it the other way around isn't possible due to Bless functioning in real-time.

Bless the blood around him not himself.
He has to kneel in blessed blood for it to work.

Cast the spell, transport him onto the blood, then bless the blood.

Sorry, I wish I could answer that one for you! I find Bless useless and only use it when forced for story reasons--and never in combat. So I've never noticed how it behaved in combat.

No the duration is actually meant for combat. It works in rounds and technically works fine.

Problem is that you use bless for only 2 reasons:
-to buff which is a medicore buff and hardly worth the sourcepoint. Has SOME use at least.
-to counter curse. Wich has the problem that the source of the curse effekt will likely curse the area you just blesses again and -> bam waste of time and a sourcepoint.
