Relatively new, still in Act 1. It seems like, over time - notably when I load a save game - the memory usage for Divinity 2 skyrockets. Eventually, the game becomes nigh unplayable - a quicksave that used to take 5 seconds to complete takes around a minute and a half, and the game stutters.

Even weirder, the issue persists when I exit Divinity 2 - task manager shows most of my 8GB of RAM being used up, even though no visible processes are using anywhere close to that amount.

I originally thought this was a Windows issue, but it doesn't happen with any other application - including other RAM-intensive games, and it happens very regularly with Divinity.

I found some old forum posts about memory leaks in the past, but supposedly they were fixed. Did they make a comeback?

Having the same issue since the new patch came out.

Sometimes saves complete after a while but on different occasions it's just an endless buffering loop.

Same here. Brutally bad on my act 2 save, nothing wrong with a new campaign.

In case it's relevant, I'm running only via Steam Link. Maybe that matters?
