Hi all,
When opening a level within a project, I get the following warning:

There are still empty layers. names and layer hierarchy of empty layers can’t be stored. They’ll be reverted to children of the main level layer on the next load. Do you want to proceed with unloading the level.

If I click yes, it proceeds. Clicking no, just closes the dialog. Thus the only way to proceed is to click yes.

I get this even when starting a new project, or a project that I’ve placed items in.

Can someone please explain why I’m getting this and how to fix?

Thanks

Hi CuddleBear,

This is an issue most likely caused by hidden objects with layers that are loaded into the World Outliner. The World Outliner adds the layer but not the object and will think that the layer is empty. It is an issue we are aware of and fixing it is on our to-do list.

For now, it is safe to ignore this message. You will not lose any data (unless you set up your level's hierarchy in the world outliner without adding any objects to the layers).
