Trying to make a few NEW armors.
For start, decided to use the meshes from the game (it was a pain learning bones even with weapons)
SO just new armor "collection", a mix from what is already in the game, will change just the names and stat it requires, to test.
Started with _armors _mage
I tracked them the whole way: Stats/Armors > ItemProgressionVisuals > RootTemplate > ResourseManager.
Ended up with EQ_Armor_Mage_Pants_Lowerbody_A (as an example). Examined it as hard as a could, but 1 thing is still missing.
Can't figure out how game chooses RACE. There are some visual set attached to it i believe, that changes the appearance on wearing, depending on character, but no metter how hard i tried, cant find any refferences to it.
Mb someone could show me the dirrection?
My worst fear is that the mechanic is hidden and just using _names_ or smth (in this case creating new armor type will be impossible, same as for weapons), but hope i just miss smth
