Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems api-ms-win-crt-heap...dll not found on pc (win8.1)

just installed it twice -- game won't start cuz above dll not found

The api-ms-win-crt-... dll files are part of the Microsoft Universal C Runtime, and on Windows 7 or 8.1 can be downloaded here, or gotten through Windows update (it is already part of Win 10).

I know this is game support and not windows support, but I tried those updates and this is what I got



maybe I'll try the windows, update, I guess

think maybe I have it figured out, I hope
