Hi, is there a way or a guide to edit saved games?

As I said in other posts, my game got badly botched, and I'm really so upset I'm giving up. It was the fifth time I started the game, I went through everything, and now just when I arrive at the desert, I've lost 50 points in each resistance because of a nasty skill bug (6 points in resist magic because of objects, and with each load, I lose 10 points permanently because it upsets the game, it seems°.

I really NEED to edit my character, I just can't play anymore, what with having lost 50 in each resistance, and losing more everytime I load a game, unless I give up a piece of dragon armour, which is unbearable too (and wouldn't give me back what I already lost).

So I need to be able to edit the characteristics of my character to give him his points back (for now, I'm at -40 in aeach resistance without any equipment, whereas I have three skill points in resist magic).
And I need to be able to edit my equipment so I can remove the damned skill point on one of my pieces of equipment.

Thanks but it does not do at all. I had already tried.
I need to edit my resistances and my equipment, and the editor can do neither.
So I can add myself 10.000 strength, but cannot recover my 50 res points, nor remove the skill from the dragon armour.

I'm looking for someone who would know how to tamper with the file directly.

Do you have the latest patch (1.34)? I seem to remember this issue is one it fixes in particular, including the recovery of lost points.

Also, you could use the save editor to move one of your purchased Resist Magic points into another skill so the extra point doesn't bug you.

There is an item editor out there, but I believe the link has died. I have an old copy of it (2.0b). I think there are newer versions since. If you post or PM someone your e-mail address, they could send it to you. It's only 110kb zipped.

I'd rather not change my skill points. I spent them, so they're spent (well, I guess I could just remove it rather than changing it)

I have had the 1.34 ever since I began this game, so that's not it.

OK, so it should be fixable for the object edition part.

Does anyone know of a way to change the basic res points of a character?

Well, with the object editor, I can always make up for it by adding 50 resist all to one of my objects, but it really bothers me, I'd like to be able to have the same character I had before the bug, not some kind of "similar but fdifferent" one.

Anyway, if someone know where in the files to find the resistances, I'd appreciate, otherwise I'll just edit my objects to make up for it.
