So as the title says, im wondering what the difficulty differences are. On the wiki site it says http://divinityoriginalsin.wiki.fextralife.com/Difficulty+Modes
that tactician mode gives npc 20% more health and some more skills to use.

But I have read that they npc gets 50% more stats and 10%more accuracy.

Me and a friend started this game for the first time since release around 4 days ago. We play on Classic mode now and its so easy that it starts to get boring.

When we started the game we agreed to not steal 1 ting in the game to make it more fair.

Still have some of the best equipment the game have to offer and have 200k that we are not using. We play with the lone wolf talent since we hate having more then 1 character each (Rogue and Two handed warrior)

We haven't done anything special with the character build, still we both are destroying everything before the npc can even make it to their turn. (more or less)

We are considering doing a game on Tactician mode and not honor since as I know the only difference between tactician and honor mode is that on honor mode there's only 1 load game.

But if the only difference is that the npc get 20% more health then we really dont se the point, since thats just going to be way to easy.

So is it 20% more health or 50% stats to the npc on Tactician and Honor mode?

Thanks!

Can't say if the modes are different then the wiki, but I can tell you that Lone wolf is a known broke talent. you can EZ mode the game with one character and lone wolf, 2 makes it even easier then that. it has to do with how the stats scale, and the additional AP each turn for a single character. it's very overpowered in its current state.

So a quick solution would be to drop the lone wolf talent. You'll notice a huge jump in difficulty. Another option is to install the Mod "Enemy Randomization (standalone). it give each monster in the encounter random buffs and abilities (additional to their normal ones mind you), and each encounter has a chance to spawn a champion, with drastically increased stats, and nicer loot once you defeat it. Very fun mod to have, I don't play without it.

Outside of that, Im sure that the limited saves and restart on death in honor mode makes it particularly challenging. but if you feel the game is too easy, you may first want to drop that broken Lone wolf talent.

The wiki is about the first game, this is the second. In Tactician and Honour all enemies have a 50% increase in pretty much everything. Some fights also provide some additional Auras & other changes, not sure how many though.
