I finally figured it out and will be releasing a mod with multiple fully functional ghosts that can be saved and used in any scene soon.
If you have a request for a (specific) type of ghost to be included please post it here and I may be able to include it in the addon.

The mod will add male and female ghosts of all the humanoid races (except undead) in 2 versions. Wearing clothing or armour. There will also be ghosts of most animals, an "Ancient Guardian Spirit" and a Ghost Dragon!
I expect to release the mod sometime later today.
