I'm a little late to the party when it comes to this game--I had to upgrade my pc before playing it. Now that I can play it, it's definitely one of my favorites thus far.

That being said, there are a [i]few[/i] things I wish I could change. I'm not completely inept when it comes to modding, I've modded the Kotor and Elder Scrolls games, but I'm pretty clueless for this one.
I just want to know if the mods are possible before I sink the hours in learning how to mod the game.

The first one is this: a mod that unlocks origin character voices for custom characters. I'm not too huge a fan of the male voices for custom characters, so I'm pretty much locked into playing female or origin characters. When searching around, I did see someone post about this before, but it didn't get any responses.

The next one would be a mod that allows you to choose which god you get. The only way I can really see this one working would be that maybe you still get your races god at the start, but you can bless whichever god you want for the rest of the game at the Hall of Echoes.

Do you think either of these mods would be possible to make at this point in time, or would it be a fruitless effort?

The association between a voice and a character is probably based on the character's UUID (but I'm not sure). What you could try is to create a mod in which you copy a generic player character, but change the file name of that character file to the UUID of the origin character whose voice you want to use.

Regarding your second question, that would definitely be hard. The reason is that many interactions with Gods are custom-scripted, so you would have to change those everywhere in the relevant story goals and dialogs. There's no single "race => god" mapping table that you just change.
