This came up on the GOG site - I thought I remembered reading something about it but I could find nothing via searches. Which god, if any, created the race of trolls? What is their origin?

Also hawkmen, and other intelligent races of the world.

Because it seems from the first game, the eight races were created by their own gods:

human - Rhalic
elf - Tir-Cendelius
dwarf - Duna
orc - Vrogir
litardman - Zorl-Stissa
imp - Xantezza
mage - Amadia
demon - The Lord of Chaos

But as we don't actualy meet any of the Good Gods/Seven Gods in the game, maybe the ingame-modern-scholars are right, and they never existed?
