Hi there,
I've run into a bit of a problem, and I can't seem to find a solution to it.
I've been working on a large mod for the main campaign for quite a while now. I've mainly been creating new classes, recipes, new NPCs etc.
But now I've decided that the time has come to use the Story Editor.
Fer starters ('Little' reference to a certain female vendor in the Driftwood market square), I just wanted to add a few simple things to my NPC dialogues. One example is that I wanted an NPC to give an item to a character. I remembered that the NPC Margo in Fort Joy would give a Restoration Scroll to you in a dialogue, so I basically tried to replicate that code to no avail.
I could use the written code that was used for the Margo NPC and get the NPC to give a Restoration Scroll, but my own code didn't work.
After spending quite a lot of time on it, I decided to use this excellent guide to just learn everything from scratch:
https://docs.larian.game/Your_First_Story_Script Unfortunately, it seems that my Story Editor is just messing with me and I can't even Build the story. This happens with or without any added new items. I've taken a screenshot of the errors I'm getting.
I've tried to look through the forums to see if anyone else was experiencing similar issues, and I saw someone mentioning that an outdated Divinity Engine could be the problem. I'm running it on Steam and it appears to be up to date, so I don't think that's the problem.
I'm crossing my fingers that someone has some advice, as I'm completely stuck and can't add anything in the story editor.
