Greetings.

I wanted to try make some mods but the editor keeps crashing every time I try to start basic or empty level or sandbox. I did put the "editor" folder in the game"s "data" folder and set the right path to "data" in the editor's options, so what the problem can you tell please?

It sounds like you are missing the "Divinity Engine 2 Data" DLC which is necessary to run the editor. Take a look at the setup guide on our wiki to find out how to get this data package.
