So I started playing Divinity Original Sin 2 about two weeks ago and the game so far is addicting. The only real issue I have with it comes in the form of very strange fps drops particularly during battles. Now this wouldn't be odd to me if didn't have a high end PC, but I do. I'll try and post the specs for it below but at the very least I've got a 7700k CPU and a evga 1080 ti ftw3 in it. So i'm actually surprised I am even encountering these issues.

My Issue:

So normally I get around 115 - 160 fps in this game at 1440p with it all maxed. Although in battles this drops down to 100 and then fluctuates between 75-100fps. Further more if I move my camera fast a bit to often it can drop further to 60. Now I know this is still pretty decent fps but during fights it keeps causing frame lag when an explosion goes off. Ultimately it doesn't seem to be as stable as I heard from others and I wanted to know if I was getting something others weren't.

If this is a normal things i'd like to know, and if you had this issue it would be greatly appreciated to know how you fixed it. wave Hopefully I can find out whether I should worry about it or just accept that it has some issues here and there. Otherwise the game is amazing and i'm loving every second of it.
